Unibody Construction
- Strong, lightweight Unibody is formed by welding high-strength steel sheet metal stampings to form a single structure, resulting in a stiff body structure and torsional rigidity, which contributes to better impact protection and ride and handling characteristics and helping to control interior noise.
Blind Spot Monitoring
- Aids driver when changing lanes if being passed or passing unseen vehicles – Requires no customer input – Active anytime vehicle is moving forward. Icon in mirror notifies driver when vehicle is in blind spots (driver can select audible chime) – Dual ultra wideband radar sensors. Intended to provide assistance to the driver. Always exercise appropriate care while reversing*.
Rear Cross Path
- In parking lot situations, Rear Cross Path (RCP) warns drivers who are backing out of parking spaces of traffic moving toward their vehicle. RCP activates any time the vehicle is in Reverse. The driver is notified of vehicle(s) crossing behind the vehicle via an illuminated icon on the side-view mirror, and with an audible chime. RCP is included with the Blind Spot Monitoring System*. Intended to provide assistance to the driver. Always exercise appropriate care while reversing.
Electronic Stability Program (ESP™)*
- Electronic Stability Program (ESP™)* is designed to assist drivers in maintaining control of their vehicles during extreme steering manoeuvres.
- ESP senses when a vehicle is starting to spin (oversteer) or plow (understeer) and attempts to correct the vehicle's course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels. *
Tire Pressuring Monitoring System
- A system that constantly monitors pressure, the standard Tire Pressure Monitoring Warning Lamp alerts the driver if one of the tires falls below the recommended pressure.The available premium Tire Pressure Monitoring Display actually shows the amount of each tire's pressure the Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC), always keeping you informed.
